计算机科学与技术专业

v   专业概况

武汉工程大学计算机科学与技术专业开办于1999年,是计算机科学与工程学院开办最早的专业。2008年,为适应招生及就业政策的变化,计算机科学与技术专业分为了计算机工程、信息技术、计算机科学与技术(理学)三个专业方向,每个专业方向独立招生并负责学生的培养及就业。2016-2018年,由于信息技术方向和计算机科学与技术(理学)方向分别申请了新的专业,故学院决定在2018年,以计算机工程方向为基础,成立新的计算机科学与技术专业。

本专业现有在校全日制本科生共11个班,总人数299人。专业现有校内专职教师17人,其中教授2名、副教授5名、讲师10名,高级职称的比例达40%;具有博士学位8人、硕士学位8人,具有教授、副教授职称的教师,每学年为本科生授课的比例达到100%。学生的培养质量稳中求进,2019届考研及高端(高薪)就业率为34.6%2020届为42%2021届为37%。通过专业实习和毕业实习,锻炼了学生的能力,近三年毕业生的一次性就业率均在95%以上。2017年在全国高校第四轮学科评估中为C-档。2019年获得湖北省优秀基层教研室称号。

v  人才培养目标与培养要求

本专业按照“立足湖北,辐射全国,服务区域经济”的服务面向,树立“全面成长、追求卓越”的培养理念。培养能在信息产业领域从事软件系统、互联网+项目、嵌入式系统的设计和开发工作的应用型工程技术人才。毕业生经过5年左右的工程实践和学习,达到如下的预期:

1)专业知识:能够运用所掌握的数学、自然科学、工程基础知识及计算机科学与技术的专业知识和技能,分析和研究计算机应用系统中的复杂工程问题,并提出合理的解决方案。

2)技术能力:在工程实践中,能综合应用基本原理、模式、框架,使用现代工具设计和开发计算机应用系统,从而满足用户的需求。经过5年左右的实践和学习,可担任所在部门或团队的项目经理、技术负责人、技术骨干等角色。

3)职业素养:在职业生涯中遵纪守法,体现出良好的科学及人文素养、职业道德和社会责任感。具有团队合作意识,有较强的口头及书面表达能力,熟练掌握一门外语,具备国际化视野。

4)终身学习:能够通过自我学习,持续更新知识体系,适应领域中不断出现的新技术、新概念,具备对前沿技术的敏感性和洞察力。

v  专业特色,人才培养项目和平台

通过本专业的学习,学生可选择的就业职位包括软件开发高级工程师(.NetJ2EE)、数据库系统开发高级工程师(SQL SeverOracleMy SQL)、嵌入式系统开发高级工程师、移动互联网应用开发高级工程师(AndroidIOSWindows Phone)、大数据分析师、互联网+行业应用工程师、云计算虚拟化管理工程师等。本专业同样重视学生素质和情商的培养,特别重视培养学生的自学能力、自律能力、表达能力、交际合作能力,每年都有毕业生考上政府公务员及跨行业、跨专业就业,同样也取得了良好的发展前景。在学生专业知识培养、实践能力培养方面,通过配备具备扎实的理论基础教学经验学业教师,在学生就业、考研方面提供有效指导,每届均有多名学生考取双一流名校研究生,或到百度、阿里巴巴、腾讯、京东、微播视界科技、奇虎、字节跳动科技、盛大网络、网易游戏等的著名企业就业,为个人的发展提供良好的平台。

v  条件与师资

计算机科学与技术微机实验室现有计算机80余台,全部为高配的联想品牌机,机房多媒体教学设备齐全,可以按照12组的方式供3个班的学生同时开展实验。实验室中的所有机器都安装了RedHatUbuntuWindows10等主流操作系统,安装了Visual StudioEclipseMy EclipseJBuilderJCreator等多个软件开发平台、安装了SQLServerOrcaleMySQL 等多个数据库软件及MATLABRational RosePower BuilderMicrosoftOffice等多款工具软件。实验室的所有机器都可以通过校园网连接Internet,为学生上网查询资料、自主学习提供了良好的环境。

嵌入式系统实验室现有ARM9-2410教学试验箱20套,Mini2410实验板20套,红牛和奋斗STM32开发板40块,友晶CPLD实验装置20套,可以进行基于嵌入式实时操作系统、LINUXWINCE操作系统的研究开发。还有12台数字示波器,12台数字信号发生器和12台可调程控电源以及万用表,焊接工具等用于电路检测和处理的各种测试设备。

专业的大数据、虚拟智能云计算两个实验室正在筹建中。

专业现有专任教师14位,其中教授2名,副教授6名,讲师6名。4位老师具有博士学位,9位老师具有硕士学位。6名教师具有硕士研究生导师资格。

专业核心课程 

本专业开设的专业课程有:面向对象的程序设计、离散结构、数字逻辑、数据结构、操作系统、计算机组成原理、计算机网络、数据库系统原理、软件工程、算法设计与分析、基于框架的Web应用开发技术、移动互联网开发技术、大数据分析与挖掘、机器视觉与人工智能、嵌入式开发技术等。实践课程有:认识实习、生产实习、毕业实习、应用软件综合设计、操作系统综合设计、数据库综合设计、硬件系统综合设计、专业综合训练等。

v  交流合作

和武汉NIIT信息技术有限公司、武汉软帝科技有限公司、武汉光庭信息技术有限公司开展校企合作,联合申报教育部“产研结合、协同育人”项目多项,建设实习基地两个。为学生的实习和锻炼动手实践能力提供良好的平台。

v  学生发展

本专业十分重视学生通过课外科技活动锻炼学生的动手实践能力,积极组织学生参加“挑战杯”、“创青春”、“互联网+”、“中国人工智能大赛”、“博创杯”、“蓝桥杯”、“微信小程序设计大赛”,“电子设计创意大赛”等比赛,共获得“创青春”大赛省级二等奖3项,三等奖4项,中国人工智能大赛省级二等奖1项,“博创杯”省级三等奖2项,“互联网+”校级一等奖2项,“蓝桥杯”国赛二等奖6项,三等奖8项及其它多项省级奖励。

Program Overview

The Computer Science and Technology program at Wuhan Institute of Technology was established in 1999, making it the earliest program founded by the School of Computer Science and Engineering. In 2008, to adapt to changes in enrollment and employment policies, the program was divided into three specializations: Computer Engineering, Information Technology, and Computer Science and Technology (Science). Each specialization conducted independent enrollment and was responsible for student training and employment. Between 2016 and 2018, as the Information Technology and Computer Science and Technology (Science) specializations successfully applied to become independent new programs, the school decided to establish a new Computer Science and Technology program in 2018, based on the original Computer Engineering specialization.

Currently, the program has 11 classes of full-time undergraduate students, with a total enrollment of 299. The professional faculty consists of 17 full-time on-campus teachers, including 2 professors, 5 associate professors, and 10 lecturers, with senior titles accounting for 40% of the total. Among them, 8 hold doctoral degrees and 8 hold master's degrees. Notably, 100% of the professors and associate professors teach undergraduate courses every academic year. The quality of student training has been steadily improving: the postgraduate entrance exam rate combined with high-end (high-salary) employment rate reached 34.6% for the Class of 2019, 42% for the Class of 2020, and 37% for the Class of 2021. Through professional internships and graduation internships, students' practical abilities have been effectively honed, with the one-time employment rate of graduates remaining above 95% for the past three years. In the 4th Round of Discipline Evaluation of Chinese Universities in 2017, the program was rated as Grade C-. In 2019, its teaching and research section was awarded the title of "Excellent Grassroots Teaching and Research Section of Hubei Province".

Talent Cultivation Objectives and Requirements

Adhering to the orientation of "rooted in Hubei, radiating the whole country, and serving regional economic development", the program upholds the educational philosophy of "comprehensive development and pursuit of excellence". It aims to cultivate application-oriented engineering and technical talents capable of engaging in the design and development of software systems, Internet+ projects, and embedded systems in the information industry. After approximately 5 years of engineering practice and continuous learning, graduates are expected to achieve the following goals:

Professional Knowledge: Be able to apply mastered knowledge of mathematics, natural sciences, engineering fundamentals, as well as professional knowledge and skills in computer science and technology to analyze and research complex engineering problems in computer application systems, and propose reasonable solutions.

Technical Competence: In engineering practice, comprehensively apply basic principles, patterns, and frameworks, and use modern tools to design and develop computer application systems that meet user needs. After about 5 years of practice and learning, graduates should be qualified for key roles such as project managers, technical directors, or technical backbones in their departments or teams.

Professional Ethics: Abide by laws and regulations in their careers, and demonstrate excellent scientific and humanistic literacy, professional ethics, and social responsibility. Possess a strong sense of teamwork, excellent oral and written communication skills, proficiency in one foreign language, and an international perspective.

Lifelong Learning: Be able to continuously update their knowledge system through self-directed learning, adapt to emerging new technologies and concepts in the field, and maintain sensitivity and insight into cutting-edge technologies.
